If we do not make the bread ourselves, we use Atlanta based artisan bakery, H&F Bread Co. They bake the bread fresh everyday! BK loves Rev Coffee! We took the time to bring in a variety of locally roasted coffee and did a blind taste test. Rev Coffee won as the best tasting coffee, hands down! Southern Swiss Dairy (Waynesboro, GA)

BK was so impressed with the distinct taste of freshness of milk, chocolate milk, cream and ice cream created by SSD, that we had to start using it everyday! The farm is family owned and operated, and they never use artificial growth hormones! The folks at SSD take great pride on ethical treatment of the cows, and put a bottling plant on their farm a number of years back. This allows the milk to be processed the same day the cows are milked! All of this ensuring the freshest, best tasting milk possible. The final product is a true testament of the labor of love put into every bottle!

Springer Mountain Farms (Blairsville, GA)

The first time we used SMF chicken in one of our recipes, we quickly understood the difference of using chicken from a 40-year-old, 3 generation family owned business that takes great care in all that they do. Not only do they take measures to provide care for the chickens, they constantly look for ways to protect the environment, and invest in long-term livelihood of the farmers. SMF emulates the true meaning behind “100% All Natural,” far beyond that of any government guideline. They are the first poultry company in the world to be certified by the American Humane Association. They never use steroids, hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, and only feed their chickens a vegetarian diet. Now that’s commitment!

BK is delighted to have found Treehouse Milk! After being troubled over what to do about watered-down, additive-laden alternative milks on the market, Kate and Bess decided to establish a business the summer of 2015. They wanted provide Atlantans a place they can buy 100% handcrafted organic nut milks. Products you know you can trust! Their milks are vegan and soy free! Additionally, they do NOT pasteurize their goods because they already take steps to insure their milks are free of bacteria. Great news for locals is you can have their products delivered to your doorstep!

BANNER BUTTER (Decatur, GA)

Banner Butter works diligently to make small batched, cultured butter. BK has taken interest in what is naturally left behind, the freshest buttermilk! The McBaths took a journey into making their own butter in 2014. They start with high-fat cream from grass-fed, pasture raised cattle and conscientiously create the perfect butters focusing on quality and integrity of the process. BK exclusively uses BB’s buttermilk in our recipes. Trust us… you can taste the difference!

LOCAL HONEY (Practically in Our Backyard!)

Little did we know that the high school kid from Galloway, who started working for us during the summers, was the youngest Master Beekeeper in GA! Inspired by the book, The Secret Life of Bees, Julia Mahood, started beekeeping in her backyard in 2004. Her son, Noah Macey, immediately took an interest! Their honey is like none other. Our customers can instantly taste the difference about this raw and natural honey, made by bees who are never treated with any chemicals, natural or artificial, and are never fed sugar water. Their honey, called ITP Honey, is beyond compare.
