Buttermilk Kitchen is a breakfast and lunch concept created by chef Suzanne Vizethann. Buttermilk’s mission is to nurture people through food by use of sustainable, local ingredients. A kitchen where most everything is made in-house from scratch, paying tribute to its name, “Buttermilk,” which refers to the liquid utilized after butter was churned; carrying out the philosophy of letting nothing go to waste.

The History

BEHIND THE KITCHEN

With a passion for breakfast and tired of working night shifts, owner and executive chef, Suzanne Vizethann opened Buttermilk’s doors in 2012. Situated in an old house in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Buttermilk Kitchen has been pumping out breakfast and brunch staples ever since. Over the years this little house has been through a number of renovations with the most recent being a full service bar. Now guests can now wash down those signature chicken biscuits with a bloody mary or mimosa with fresh squeezed juice.
